New Student Enrollment

Step One

Confirm that Jones is your neighborhood school* by clicking here.

*If Jones is not your neighborhood school, you are welcome to complete a Choice Application.

To complete a Choice Application and learn about your enrollment options visit the district's Neighborhood Schools and Enrollment Options web page by clicking here.

Once a Choice Application is submitted you will be placed on the Jones waiting list.

  

Step Two

Read the questions below to select one type of enrollment process.

 

Is your child new to the San Diego Unified School District?

  • Attending school for the first time?
  • Recently moved into the SDUSD boundary, or were previously attending a private school, charter school, or home schooled?

If "yes", complete all the documents listed below and email them to [email protected].

Has your child at one time been enrolled at any of the San Diego Unified Schools?

  • Transfer from another school within the SDUSD?
  • Left SDUSD and are returning?
